Horsham Watch Centre stalwart Stuart Callagan dies aged 86
Stuart Callagan, 86, former owner of Horsham Watch Centre in Queen Street, has passed away after a long illness.
Apart from running the Watch Centre for more than 30 years, Mr Callagan was responsible for keeping the town centre’s clocks running on time.
His son Peter told the County Times that these included the clock above the Old Town Hall, the Kings Head clock, the council clock in Horsham Park, and the one at the open air swimming pool.
