See Rob’s show and it’s crystal clear why.
Few tribute artists capture George’s musical talent, charisma and passion as closely as Rob - this is a performer in a different league.
The show is an ultimate celebration of 35 years of hits from Wham and George’s solo career, looking back at the life and music of one of the world’s most successful artists of all time - who sold over 100 million records worldwide, chalking up an amazing total of 8 number one albums and 11 number one singles in the UK.
Rob, who also featured in the BBC’s Even Better Than the Real Thing in 2017, has a voice worthy of performing George’s remarkable catalogue of hits and he has gone on to establish a successful career playing homage to his hero.
With some of George Michael’s personal musicians proudly joining Rob’s band, his performances are guaranteed to hypnotise the senses and do justice to one of the greatest singer-songwriters of our time.
Following its premiere in 2019 venues around the UK, including a sell-out performance at London’s Eventim Apollo, the definitive show celebrating the music of George Michael will now tour well into 2022.
The production has wowed audiences around the country and lifted them to their feet, in a dynamic show that tactfully and appropriately celebrates the career of one of the most gifted performers of a generation.
From Wham! all the way through to the diverse eras of George’s hugely successful solo career, including the timeless hits like Careless Whisper, Faith, Fastlove, Club Tropicana, and so many more, the show tells the story of George Michael in the vast repertoire songs that made him an icon to so many.
