Butlin’s Bognor Regis prepares to celebrate 90th Christmas with festive family breaks
Butlin’s is preparing for the festive season, with a programme of Christmas entertainment and activities planned at its Bognor Regis resort.
Butlin’s Bognor Regis is preparing for a busy festive season as the resort celebrates its 90th Christmas, with thousands of families expected to enjoy a seasonal break by the seaside.

More than 40,000 guests are expected across Butlin’s festive breaks, including more than 4,000 people who will spend Christmas Day itself at the West Sussex resort.
The celebrations will include two brand-new shows, festive activities and the return of the popular Father Christmas’ Express Delivery experience.
Among the new entertainment on offer will be Christmas Rocks, featuring a live band giving well-known Christmas songs a rock-inspired twist, and Rock DJ, a Robbie Williams tribute show featuring some of the singer’s biggest hits.
Both shows will be included in the price of festive breaks.
Younger visitors will also have the chance to meet Father Christmas through the resort’s 30-minute immersive Father Christmas’ Express Delivery experience.
The festive programme will also feature a production of Jack and the Beanstalk, which is moving to Studio 36, the largest entertainment venue at the Bognor Regis resort.
The pantomime will be performed twice during each festive break, giving more families the opportunity to watch the show. Across all three Butlin’s resorts, around 20,000 guests are expected to attend.
Other activities included in the price of a break will include arts and crafts sessions, Christmas-themed pool parties and discos.
Guests will also be able to enjoy the resort's Splash Waterworld swimming pools, unlimited fairground rides and Skyline Gang Soft Play centre, alongside its regular live entertainment.
The programme includes the new Peppa Pig-Nic Celebration, featuring Evie Pig, as well as Animals and Mythical Beasts.
Families booking a 2026 festive break can also benefit from an extra 10 per cent off, with a range of packages available.
Christmas Festive Wonderland breaks start from £39, while Christmas Day breaks start from £393. Families looking to extend the celebrations after Christmas can book a Festive Wonderland break from £323.
Those wanting to see in 2027 at Bognor Regis can also book a New Year break, with live music, parties and fireworks displays included. Prices start from £498.
Mike Godolphin, entertainment director at Butlin’s, said the resort was preparing to end its 90th anniversary year with a festive celebration.
He said: “As we wrap up an incredible year of celebrating our 90th birthday, we’re ending it on a festive high.
“The most wonderful time of the year is made extra special at Butlin's, with non-stop festive shows and activities, all included in the price of breaks.
“While most families will be heading to the sofas after their Christmas lunch, our guests can whizz down the slides at Splash Waterworld.
“Where else can you swap your Christmas jumper for a swimsuit on Christmas Day? There’s no better place for a well-earned festive getaway, and we can’t wait to welcome thousands of guests.”
