The event brought together a wide range of representatives from across education, business and different professional sectors, providing students with the chance to ask questions, discover new opportunities and find out more about the routes available to them as they begin thinking about their futures.

Throughout the day, students from across the school were able to speak directly with employers and education providers, learning more about different careers, courses, apprenticeships, further education and higher education.

The College was also delighted to welcome back a number of former students, who returned to share their own experiences and talk to current students about the pathways they have taken since leaving Bourne. Their first-hand experiences provided an invaluable insight into the different routes young people can take and where those pathways can lead.

The Careers Fair was designed to ensure that every student had the opportunity to engage with the wider community and gain a better understanding of the options available to them, whether they already have a clear idea of their future or are still exploring their interests.

It was a wonderful day for the Bourne community, with businesses, education providers and former students coming together with staff and students to share their knowledge, experiences and advice.

The event highlighted the importance of giving young people meaningful opportunities to meet people from different industries and educational backgrounds, helping them to make informed decisions about their next steps.
