Brighton.co.uk has relaunched as an independent guide to Brighton & Hove, helping local businesses get discovered by locals and visitors. As more decisions about where to eat, shop and spend money are made online, Brighton.co.uk gives local businesses a new way to get found by anyone who lives, works or spends time in Brighton & Hove.

The new platform brings together neighbourhoods to explore, a growing What’s on calendar, local services, jobs and inspiration from people who live and breathe the city.

At the centre of the relaunch is its own business directory, The Brighton Spotlight. Local businesses can claim their space, share what makes them worth knowing about and reach potential customers. Businesses can start with the free Discover Plan, with paid options offering more ways to promote themselves locally.

The team includes Brighton-born Max Bremner, alongside Aaron Thomas and Louisa Delpy.

Max Bremner, co-owner of Brighton.co.uk, said: “Brighton’s independent businesses are a huge part of what makes Brighton feel like Brighton, but being a great local business sadly doesn’t always mean people find you.

“We hope Brighton.co.uk will bridge that gap, helping people find the places they might otherwise miss and giving business owners a new way to reach customers and bring more business through the door.

“This relaunch is just the beginning. We’d love to work with local businesses and organisations who share our ambition to bring more people to Brighton & Hove, support what’s already here and build Brighton.co.uk into a genuinely useful resource for the city.”
