Former student returns to Bourne Community College to support Ghana fundraising disco

Students at Bourne Community College enjoyed a fantastic evening of music and dancing as Year 7 and 8 students took part in a disco organised by Xander as part of his fundraising efforts for an upcoming trip to Ghana.

The event was made possible thanks to the generosity of former Bourne student Matt, from MRM Audio Hire, who provided his professional sound and lighting equipment completely free of charge.

Matt’s return to the school also provided a special opportunity to reunite with Janet Murray-Brown, who taught him during the 1990s and is now Bourne Community College’s Acting Headteacher.

The reunion was a particularly fitting moment, with Matt now returning to his former school to support the next generation of students.

The disco was a huge success, with students from Years 7 and 8 enjoying an evening of music, dancing and fun, while helping to support Xander’s fundraising efforts for his Ghana trip.

Bourne Community College would like to thank Matt and MRM Audio Hire for their generosity and for helping to make the event possible.
