Week 4 Report

With B Division leaders Fittleworth Club on a bye, Barns Green Club seized the opportunity to take top spot with a 6-2 win at The White Horse. The Red Lyon moved up to second after beating The Dog & Bacon 6-2. Two winless teams faced off as The Foresters travelled to The Norfolk, who remain without a victory after a heavy 7-1 loss. The Tipsy Fox hosted The Plough in a match that went down to the last game of the night, ending in a 4-4 draw.

In the A Division, bottom side Slinfold CC met Southwater Club B, who were boosted by a 123 finish from Fran Pickett and the season’s highest out shot of 161 from Ron Clarke, securing a 6-2 win. Second-placed Ashington Club hosted Kings Head Badgers, winning 6-2 with Nathan Milner hitting the weeks only 180 for the home side. Shelley Arms C were visited by Southwater Club A, who took a 5-3 victory. Shelley Arms A played Shelley Arms B, with the A team winning 6-2 thanks to Paul Williams 106 finish and Steve Collins 100 out. The Windmill had a bye.
