News from Eastgate Baptist Church - Run away or soar above?

Last Sunday, in our sermon, we looked at Psalm 55 and thought about how we can soar above life's difficulties, rather than running away from them. It's good to ask ourselves - what is God developing in me, or teaching me through this difficult time? We are encouraged to pour out our heart honestly to God, and to look to Him for help and strength to endure. He is trustworthy and He has our best interests at heart.

On Sunday 8th November, our Remembrance Service with Breakfast will start at 9.30am in the church (BN7 2LR) and there will be a warm welcome for everyone! We will have a breakfast of coffee, cereal, toast, fruit and warm pastries, then we will have a short talk, a prayer and some worship. After a short break, the second part of the service will include more worship, a sermon, discussion, and prayers, as well as Sunday school and a creche with lots of fun activities for the children. The service ends at about 11.15am. The service will also be on Zoom. The Zoom ID is 5912614502, password: Eastgate.
