Opening day defeat for the Dean

A new season to kickstart at the gasson but a very underwhelming performance to start the season off.

There was bright and enthusiastic football played by both sides for the opening 20 minutes or so but when a chi long ball wasn’t dealt with. The mistake was pounced upon and turned in for 0-1.

A few half chances fell for the Dean but nothing could be turned home.

HT 0-1.

Harry Raymond was introduced for Dillon Birch.

Dean managed to gain a foothold on the game but never really looked like causing any trouble.

Then when trying to throw bodies forward a second was conceded and not long after a third.

A host of changes saw Tom Wilson, Tyler Pickering, Josh Pollock and Ethan Hackett introduced.

There was a foul late on in the game which Brad Platt was able to convert for a consolation goal.

FT 1-3.
