A much-loved children’s charity is bringing back one of its most popular fundraising events after a seven-year absence.

Children with Cancer Fund (Polegate) is resurrecting its Antique Fair to take place at Willingdon Community School on October 24. There will be stalls featuring a wide range of antiques and vintage collectables, plus an expert from Eastbourne Auctions will be on hand to offer valuations and hopefully put some smiles on a few faces. Hot food and drinks will be available for peckish punters.
The charity is now looking for stallholders to join them on the day, with pitches costing £25 for a 6ft table (approx.). All types of antiques and older vintage items are welcome, but CWCF is requesting no bric-a-brac or craft stalls.

All proceeds from the event will go directly to helping children with cancer and their families living in East Sussex and Brighton and Hove.
Chris Downton said, “We used to love this Antique Fair every year, and it was always busy and well-received by the local community, so we are incredibly excited to be bringing it back in October.
We already have some wonderful and varied stalls lined up for the day but would love to book even more to make this event one to remember and raise much needed funds for the vital support we provide to children with cancer and their families.”
The fair will be opening its doors to stallholders at 7am, and the public will be welcome from 9am. The event is due to finish at 2pm.

Entry fee is £1 and valuations cost £2.50 per item, to be paid on the day.
