Hairdresser opens new coffee shop in Hailsham
A hairdresser in Hailsham has now opened a new coffee shop in the town.
Abigail Elliott-Noye, 31, is behind The Coffee Shed in 2 Amberstone Cottages.
The Coffee Shed opened on Saturday (October 31) and Abigail said the early response from customers has been ‘amazing’.
The 31-year-old also runs Abigail’s Hair – a Hailsham-based hairdressing business.
Her new venture is a far cry from her established career, but her own love for coffee spurred her on to open the coffee shop.
“I've never done something like this before,” Abigail admitted. “With hairdressing, everybody booked so you know who's coming in.
“Whereas with something like this, you've just got to hope people come in which has been amazing, the amount of people that have just turned up.”
Among a wide selection of food and drinks, Abigail said the shop’s canned iced drinks have been particularly popular so far, with customers able to easily enjoy them on the move.
