Sussex coffee roasters to open new branch in Eastbourne
Trading Post Coffee Roasters will open a new branch in Eastbourne town centre in December 2026.
The Sussex based business has secured the site of its twelfth coffee house in 147-149 Terminus Road.
The address was formerly occupied by outdoor clothing and equipment retailer Blacks, which permanently closed in 2021.
Trading Post opened its first shop in Brighton in 2017. The new coffee shop in will have more than 70 covers inside, live roasting, open plan kitchen and outdoor seating to the front.

The coffee roasters’ limited edition, specialty single-origin coffees and seasonal drinks menu will be available in Eastbourne, as will their brunch menu featuring plant-based and gluten free options and menu for young diners.
Trading Post’s Head of Wholesale, Ryan Deol said: “The continued success of our locations in Lewes, Worthing, Horsham and Chichester highlights both the strength of the local coffee community and the growing recognition of the Trading Post Coffee Roasters brand beyond Brighton & Hove.
“With the regeneration of nearby Victoria Place into a more sustainable and pedestrian-friendly area, we couldn’t have chosen a better location; it perfectly reflects our planet-conscious values, whilst also bringing our coffee and brunch experience closer to our Eastbourne customers, many of whom already visit us in Lewes and Brighton.”
It comes after an application was submitted to Eastbourne Borough Council seeking advertising and planning consent.
The proposal seeks to make alterations to the existing shop front and install signage for Trading Post.
Trading Post has also been advertising job vacancies online for a supervisor and head barista at an Eastbourne branch.
