St Andrew’s CE Primary School in Furnace Green has been graded ‘Excellent’ in an inspection by SIAMs (Statutory Inspection for Anglican and Methodist Schools) and has also had a successful Ofsted Inspection.

All Church of England schools are visited regularly to evaluate the key question, “How effective is the school's distinctive Christian vision, established and promoted by leadership at all levels, in enabling all pupils and adults to flourish?”

St Andrew’s ethos and environment are “thanks to the energy, skills and commitment of the whole school community, including staff, parents, children and governors. It has been a huge team effort and we feel so fortunate to be part of such a supportive and caring community.”

It is such an encouragement to the church community to see the school recognised for its tremendous work in developing a strong and clear Christian vision. The vision seeks to live out genuine Christian values and deliver excellent teaching for all.”
