100 Per Cent club celebrates!

BEXHILL College students have continued a history of high achievement in A' Level results.

Exams taken just Christmas have yielded a crop of excellent grades.

Half the candidates achieved grade-A in English literature, 44 per cent got As in AS chemistry, and 29 per cent got As in AS /A2 English language.

Even larger numbers of students achieved Grade B.

One group of 11 students achieved unbeatable 100 per cent full marks in subjects as diverse as English literature, maths, law, business, physics, PE contemporary studies and politics.

College principal Karen Hucker said: "This is another admirable result which maintains our historic levels of high achievement in A Levels '“ some of the best in the county. Staff and students have worked hard in their commitment to excellence, confirming again an important aspect of college ethos which we would want to sustain in any new tertiary college plans currently under review."
