Car wash helps Royal British Legion

The 1140 Steyning Squadron cadets will be washing customer’s cars at the Old Shoreham Road garden centre, in return for a donation to the Royal British Legion.

The car wash takes place on Saturday, 10am to 2pm, and the money raised will be presented the next day, at the Remembrance Sunday parade.

Mayberry manager Darren Clift said: “This event is always well supported and the cadets work hard whatever the weather.

“We look forward to welcoming as many vehicles as the cadets can clean, as the money raised goes to a very good cause.”
