The fire service has issued a statement after emergency services were called to youths ‘climbing and jumping’ on roofs in Chichester city centre.
A spokeswoman for West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said: “We were called to support the police with an incident on East Street, Chichester at 5pm this evening (29 November).”
Two fire engines and the Technical Rescue Unit attended the scene, she confirmed.

Hide AdEarlier, Chichester Police said a ‘multi agency response’ was mounted to reports of youths ‘climbing and jumping’ over roofs.
A spokesman added: “Three youths taken home by police and [a] drone operator searching for any outstanding youths - thankfully none found.”
