Hastings man pleads guilty to nine offences including common assault by beating

A 43-year-old man from Hastings has pleaded guilty to nine offences including common assault by beating, according to police.

Officers said Billy Banks-Nash of Stockleigh Road was charged and remanded to court today (Saturday, June 25).

A Sussex Police spokesperson added, “He entered a guilty plea for nine offences after he had repeatedly targeted the Co-op store and staff in London Road, St Leonards.

"He is due to be sentenced in two months.”

Police said other offences includes shoplifting and public order.
