Police identify man following East Grinstead theft and assault

Police said they have identified a man they want to speak to in connection with an investigation into a report of a theft and assault at an East Grinstead shop .

A Sussex Police spokesperson said, “A suspect went into Broadleys in the High Street at around 11.15am on Wednesday, February 23, and stole items from the shop and got into an altercation with staff.

“The investigation is continuing.”
