Grants for community and charity groups in Arun

SEVEN voluntary community and charity groups in Arun have been awarded money from the Arun Well-being & Health Partnership small grants scheme.

The successful applicants included Arun Counselling Centre, providing older Arun residents with specialised counselling; Enable Me, providing training for volunteers to work with people with disabilities; Cancer United, promoting healthier lifestyles to avoid preventable diseases and Littlehampton Shopmobility, which produces walking mobility equipment for elderly or disabled shoppers.

The organisations all had projects which either promoted or supported one or more of the Arun Well-being priorities.
