Horsham’s Johnson Cleaners branch host charity day today

Horsham’s Johnson Cleaners branch are hosting a charity day in aid of the NSPCC today (Saturday October 19).

The branch, which is located in the Carfax, invite the local community to join in its fundraising activities, which include tombolas, raffles and ‘family fun’.

Paul Ogle, managing director of Johnsons Cleaners, said: “Each year this event gets bigger and better and it’s definitely a highlight on our calendar.

“Our staff have put a lot of effort into making this event a success and we are looking forward to seeing the local community come to support our Johnsons Cares Day in aid of the NSPCC”.

The company hopes to top the £21,000 raised for Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation last year.

Martin Ashton, senior corporate partnerships manager for the NSPCC said: “We are delighted that Johnson Cleaners has selected us as the focus for their Johnsons Cares Day for 2013.

“It is a great initiative and the funds raised will help us to continue to protect vulnerable children across the UK.”
