Lecture mixes music and art

INFLUENCES on music an painting will be explored at Steyning Decorative and Fine Arts Society on Monday.

Janet Canetty-Clarke, lecturer and conductor, will give a talk, entitled From Romanticism into Impressionism in Music and Painting, at the Steyning Centre at 10.30am.

Coffee is served at 10am and entry for new members and visitors is £5.

The society is the local branch of the National Association of Decorative and Fine Art Societies.

Lectures take place on the second Monday of each month at The Steyning Centre, by Fletchers Croft car park, opposite St Andrew and St Cuthman Church.
