Littlehampton charity makes '˜painful' decision to close after 18 years

LITTLEHAMPTON homeless charity LCT HOMElink has been forced to close by a funding crisis.

Chairman Fr Roger Caswell described it as a ‘painful’ decision, bringing to an end 18 years of helping many vulnerable and needy people in Littlehampton and across the Arun district.

He said: “We got to the stage where we couldn’t keep up the repayments to Arun District Council and other debts, including the bank overdraft, and there was no prospect of getting any grant funding.”
