Letter: If it’s not greed, what is it?
It may indeed appear harsh to describe Mid Sussex District Council Cabinet’s decision to sell the Cuckfield meadow as ‘greed’, but what Councillor Ash-Edwards is choosing to ignore is their plan to sell the land will result in a single, rich family enjoying its use at the expense of considerable numbers of existing Cuckfield residents, rich and poor.
If this is not greed then it certainly is extreme bias, which is not an approach which mid Sussex people would expect their representatives to follow.
