LETTERS: Kind support for MacMillan event

We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who helped us raise much-needed funds for MacMillan Cancer Support. We were joined by plenty of friends, family and local businesses to take part in the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning.

We offered a wide variety of cakes along with tea and coffee which were all kindly donated.

The raffle went down well with prizes donated by local business’ including Mortgage Solutions, Flawless Beauty in Billingshurst, Hair Boutique and Finelines Painting and Decorating.

We have now drawn the raffle so we’re afraid if we haven’t contacted you then you weren’t one of the lucky ones.

The ‘Guess How Many Houses In The Jar’ game went down a storm, with plenty of interesting formulas being discussed to attempt to work it out!

There was a total of 444 houses in the jar, making a winner of Jill from Courtney Green, taking the Cote Brasserie vouchers donated by the lettings team here at Woodlands.

We would also like to thank those who were unable to attend who have helped by donating to our Just Giving page.

In total we raised £703.68!

We are sure that the money you all helped us to raise will make a real difference to the life of someone affected by cancer.
