March 20 is the UN International Day of Happiness, which aims to create a happier and kinder world, and to make people appreciate the importance of happiness within their lives. This year’s theme is ‘Be Mindful. Be Grateful. Be Kind’.
We are lucky to have plenty to smile about in Sussex, with the coast and Downs on our doorsteps and so much more. Here are some of our favourites...

"An afternoon or evening at the Duke of Yorks Picturehouse in Brighton. It's one of the oldest cinemas in the world and unique venue. The multiplexes can't compete with its character and unique style. It remains a wonderful Brighton venue." Photo: Google

"My favourite place to unwind is on the South Downs Way from Storrington to Amberley. Fantastic views of the West Sussex countryside, fresh air and I always see plenty of wildlife." Photo: Google
