Arundawn Dog Rescue, based in Horsham, focuses largely on providing rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming for strays from across the country who are sadly facing euthanasia through no fault of their own.

The rescue is ideally looking for foster carers who could be interested in later adopting. Marie's manners around other dogs are 'a bit lacking' at present, according to the rescue, so any dogs in her new home would have to be tolerant, confident and sociable.](https://www.sussexexpress.co.uk/webimg/b25lY21zOjZiODgxNDI3LWY5ODgtNGM4My05MWZiLTdjNzM5ZTE0ZDA0MzpkZDc0MjQ3NC1mMWYxLTQ4NDUtYTg3Yi00MmYwOTBmZDc3NzY=.jpg?crop=3:2&width=640)

![Missy is a 'delightful' older lady who unfortunately found herself in kennels when she should have been settling down into her retirement years. She would prefer a home with no other dogs, as she can be wary of them, and could live with children aged above 14. She is housetrained, knows a few commands and loves her walks. She loves attention and will be an 'awesome' companion, according to Arundawn. ![Jenny is a sweet girl looking for a home in the countryside with at least one other friendly dog. She arrived at Arundawn heavily pregnant and has been busy over the last 12 weeks looking after her pups - who are now also looking for their forever homes. Jenny previously had a very sheltered life so she is a bit nervous of new situations. However, Arundawn says she is a very friendly, gregarious girl when meeting new people. She is anxious around small children and has not been tested with cats.](https://www.sussexexpress.co.uk/webimg/b25lY21zOjlmYjg4ZjhjLTAyODctNDY3YS05ZmY5LTFhNjE1YzcyMGQ1Yzo4ODc0ZjkwZS01NDhjLTQ1N2MtODI2OS05MDUwNjAxN2Y4Yzk=.jpg?crop=3:2&width=640)
