The body of a teenage girl was found in Bexhill at the weekend, police have confirmed.

Police and other emergency services attended the scene at around 7am yesterday (Sunday, August 7).
A police spokesperson said they were called over concerns for the welfare of a girl.The spokesperson said: “Sadly, the body of a 15-year-old girl was found. Her next of kin have been informed and her death is not being treated as suspicious.Police attended the scene and a report will be prepared for HM Coroner.”
