Crawley park retains prestigious 'TripAdvisor award' for second year in a row

The travel review website and app has awarded Tilgate Park with a 2022 Travellers’ Choice Award, to go alongside its 2021 award.

In 2019, the park was inducted into the Hall of Fame after receiving TripAdvisor’s Certificate of Excellence for the fifth year running.

Set in 400 acres, the park’s natural landscape boasts Tilgate Nature Centre alongside ancient woodland, lakes, gardens and lawns, the Lakeside Café, Tilgate Forest Golf Centre, the Walled Garden Café, Go Ape treetop adventures and a segway trail, lake activities with Tilgate Park Watersports Centre and the Smith & Western restaurant.

A spokesman from TripAdvisor said: “Every year, TripAdvisor celebrates attractions that consistently deliver amazing experiences with a Travellers' Choice Award – and this year, Tilgate Park made the list. That means that the attraction has earned positive reviews and ratings over the past year.

“Good job, and congratulations on the well-deserved win.”

Councillor Chris Mullins said: “Winning this award last year was a great achievement so to retain it is absolutely fantastic.

“Awards like this reflect the huge amount of hard work the team puts into making Tilgate Park and Nature Centre a great place for residents and visitors to enjoy.”

Tilgate Park has so much to offer from stunning lakes, lawns and gardens to miles of woodland and bridleways for long leisurely walks. Green Flag award-winning park also boasts Tilgate Nature Centre and excellent activities and attractions.
