See below to see which dogs at Arundawn Dog Rescue are up for adoption or requiring foster.
Some may require more time for assessment, but you can find further information on each of their profiles on the centre's website before completing a pre-adoption form.
Buddy is a 13-year-old Jack Russell terrier who tragically finds himself needing a new home due to his owner's illness and inability to care for him. He needs the company of another dog - ideally a small, calm one of either sex - and may be able to live with cats. He also needs a home where there is someone around all the time as he suffers with separation anxiety. Buddy loves his short, regular walks and playing with his toys and really likes snuggling up on a lap for a cuddle. Photo: Arundawn Dog Rescue
6. Lilli
Lilli is an 18-month old in need of training and boundaries with someone who has time, patience and understanding of her breed. She can live with children aged over 13 and is playful with most dogs, however she does react strongly if dogs show her aggression. She can be 'guarding of the home' and does not like strangers without full and careful introduction. Photo: Arundawn Dog Rescue
7. Dexter
Dexter is a nine-year-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier who is still very much full of life. He can live with children and may be able to live with another suitable dog as he can be selective with other canines. However, he cannot live with cats. Arundawn has described him as a lovely and happy dog who is looking for a new home through no fault of his own. Photo: Arundawn Dog Rescue
8. Maddie
Maddie is an 18-month-old lurcher who arrived in care malnourished and terrified, but Arundawn Dog Rescue said she has come on leaps and bounds after arriving as a 'terrified skin and bone girl'. She is happy as an only dog but could share a home with another that is like-minded, and can live with children aged over 12.. She also requires regular socialisation as she will become anxious around other dogs if not. Photo: Arundawn Dog Rescue
