See below to see which dogs at Arundawn Dog Rescue are up for adoption or requiring foster.
Some may require more time for assessment, but you can find further information on each of their profiles on the centre's website before completing a pre-adoption form.
Nugget is a two-year-old lurcher who found himself in a council pound facility in very poor condition. He may be best suited to live with another dog to ease any anxieties, and any homes with children aged over 12 will be suitable. Arundawn Dog Rescue said he is young and delightful, but a little needy. Photo: Arundawn Dog Rescue
10. Riley
Riley (11) is a Staffordshire Bull Terrier who has been working hard on his anxieties in foster care. He is a very affectionate and delighftul dog who sadly is fear reactive when out walking and encountering other dogs, so requires a muzzle. In the evenings, he happily settles down and likes snuggling on the sofa under a blanket. Arundawn said that for all his little 'quirks' he really is the most loving and affectionate boy. 11. Dennie
Dennie is a 16-month-old Bull Terrier, who is looking for adopters experienced with his breed. Previously living in an urban location, he is fearful and anxious and needs time to adjust to new surroundings. Arundawn Dog Rescue said he is a typical young male - bouncy and a pusher of boundaries but with no malice or harm. It is currently unknown if he can live with other dogs, cats or children. 12. Charlie
Charlie (5) was previously adopted through Arundawn but his owner is now unable to continue looking after him. He currently lives with another male dog and a cat, and has lived with rats too. He can also live with children. Charlie needs an adopter that doesn't mind being followed around a lot of the time and who has a comfy sofa so that he can snuggle up with you Photo: Arundawn Dog Rescue
