These dogs at Arundawn Dog Rescue are looking for homes. Could one of them be the perfect match for you?
See below to see which dogs at Arundawn Dog Rescue are up for adoption or requiring foster.
Some may require more time for assessment, but you can find further information on each of their profiles on the centre's website before completing a pre-adoption form.
Bodi is a three-year-old who is believed to be a Ridgeback cross. He is looking for a home in the country with either a large garden or in a location where there are not lots of dogs. He is anxious when he sees other dogs, and will bark and pull on the lead when out walking in 'built-up' locations. He is well behaved, settles quickly indoors and loves to learn new things. 14. Felix
Felix is a one-year-old lurcher, who Arundawn said has the 'attention of a sparrow'. He is affectionate and loving, but can be a little overbearing if allowed. He would benefit from another dog to interact with but needs boundaries in place, as well as plenty of exercise. The charity is hoping to find a foster home to further assess him, or with view to adopt. He cannot live with cats or, until further assessment has been completed, children. 15. Oscar
Oscar is an 18-month-old Bull Lurcher who has been a 'work in progress'. Arundawn described him as quirky, with some fears and anxieties and little in the way of social skills. He requires an experienced foster carer with time, patience and understanding. He is fearful of strangers, especially men and needs a child and cat-free home, but may be able to live with a calm and tolerant female lurcher or similar breed. Photo: Arundawn Dog Rescue
16. Peanut and Smudge
Peanut (11) and Smudge (7) are looking for a new home after their owner unfortunately passed away, leaving them home alone. They are easy dogs to care for, were fully house trained and able to be left without separation anxiety, however the massive changes in their lives have made them more anxious and they will take time to settle. They cannot be rehomed with cats, it is currently unknown if they can live with other dogs, and they can live with children over 12. Photo: Arundawn Dog Rescue
