9. Percy - four-year-old Greyhound
A friendly natured, sweet Greyhound with a lot of love to give - meet Percy! Despite being four years old, Percy hasn’t yet experienced all the wonderful ways of dog life due to being an ex-racing Greyhound, Dogs Trust said. The world beyond home and garden life can still feel overwhelming for him, so he would thrive in a quieter residential or rural location away from busy roads and heavy traffic. Percy is happiest spending his time in the safety of his garden and is currently not able to go out for walks, so his future family will need to be patient, realistic and prepared to let him progress slowly, understanding that this journey could take weeks or even months. He adores human company and is a master of the classic Greyhound lean, happily pressing himself against you for fusses, ear scratches and affection. Once Percy trusts you, you'll discover an incredibly loyal and affectionate companion who forms special bonds with the people he loves. Photo: Dogs Trust

10. Bruce - four-year-old Coton de Tulear
Meet Bruce, a sweet, independent Coton de Tulear, who likes to take life in his stride! He's happiest simply being close to his favourite humans, whether that's relaxing nearby after a walk or quietly keeping you company around the house. Friendly with new people and taking most new experiences in his stride, Bruce is an easy dog to enjoy spending time with and loves getting out for leisurely walks where he can follow his nose. He isn't especially interested in toys but is certainly motivated by his favourite treats and loves his food. Bruce will need patient owners who are willing to take grooming slowly and build positive associations, as he can find handling uncomfortable. With kindness, consistency and plenty of understanding, Bruce will offer loyalty, companionship and the pleasure of sharing life with a truly lovely little dog. Photo: Dogs Trust
