Hastings seafront car park to be closed for bonfire
Pelham car park on the seafront will be closed from Friday evening as Hastings Bonfire Society start preparations for the big event on Saturday October 17.
A spokesperson for the Bonfire Society said: “As of Friday evening, we urge people to please find other places to park, as we will need to close the car park down in order to establish the safe area for our fireworks. “Hastings Borough Bonfire Society takes no responsibility for any vehicles left in the car park on Saturday. If you've not retrieved your vehicles before 4pm on Saturday at the absolute latest, you will not be able to get to your vehicle until Sunday, and it may be at risk of damage from the fireworks fallout.”
