Horsham MP Jeremy Quin lands cabinet role in Rishi Sunak's new government
Horsham MP Jeremy Quin has been promoted to a cabinet role in the government of new Prime Minister Rishi Sunak.
Jeremy has been appointed Paymaster General and Minister for the Cabinet Office – roles previously held by former Horsham MP Francis Maude.
Writing in his weekly column for the West Sussex County Times, Jeremy said: “I am delighted to have been asked to take on a role in that huge task.

"I will be attending the cabinet as Minister for the Cabinet Office and Paymaster General. This role is based in the heart of Government but links right across its endeavours. “Alongside serving as a Member of Parliament I look forward to doing my utmost to help deliver the thoughtful and effective Government the country needs.”
He said Rishi would ‘restore stability and generate the trust and confidence which is so vital in government.’
Francis Maude, now Lord Maude, was Paymaster General from 2010-2015.
