New bar opens at Bexhill holiday park

A bar has opened at a Bexhill holiday park by its new owners.

Kloofs, in Sandhurst Lane, Whydown Road, is run by Asa Welch and his brother, Cresswell.

They bought the site in February.

Bexhill mayor Memish Huseyin visited the holiday park.

He said: “I had the pleasure of visiting Kloofs Holiday Park for the official opening of their beautiful, cosy new bar.

“I first visited Kloofs back in February, when the work was just beginning, so it was wonderful to return and see the incredible transformation that has taken place.

“I also had the opportunity to see some of the residential park homes, and I was incredibly impressed by their quality and 'wow factor'. The surroundings just add to that homely feel.

“It was particularly lovely to meet residents who had come together to celebrate the opening and to hear how pleased they are with the improvements that have been made.

“A huge thank you to Asa, Cresswell and their families who were very welcoming, also the whole team for their continued hard work, investment and commitment you have shown to Kloofs and to our town. As a family-run business, you have created something that is a real asset to Bexhill.

“I look forward to visiting again and seeing what comes next.”
