Southwater residents invited to annual Remembrance Sunday service
Residents in Southwater are being invited to come together to remember and honour those who have lost their lives in conflicts past and present.
The village’s annual Remembrance Sunday service will take place at the War Memorial on Sunday, November 8, beginning at 10.50am.
The Last Post will be played at 10.58am, followed by the two-minute silence at 11am. The Reveille will sound at 11.02am, before wreaths are laid in tribute to the fallen.
The service is expected to conclude at approximately 11.30am.

Road closures will be in operation around the War Memorial during the event, with affected roads due to reopen at midday.
The annual gathering provides an opportunity for the Southwater community to come together to pay their respects and reflect on the sacrifices made by servicemen and women.
All residents are welcome to attend the service.
