Already planned for next year are talks on The Stables Theatre, the Family Support Network, the history of weddings and also of Pett, as well as Rye Harbour Nature Reserve and Christmas flowers. Members truly want to be celebrating Pett WI’s centenary in 2017 so do come along and see what it is all about.

Now 2015 might seem a long way off but when designing a calendar, it’s never too soon! Pett Village Hall Committee has decided to repeat the success of the village calendar in 2011. The photographs submitted were a great reflection of the lovely, diverse area in which we live. So what is the committee looking for this time? Well, it could be photos of the Parish as it was in days gone by or even an image of how it could look in the future. Photos that demonstrate how much people enjoy living, photos that show the changing seasons or even photos from our welcomed visitors.

So if you would like to contribute to the calendar, please send your photos to Pett Parish News or the Village Hall Committee – details in the November edition of Pett Parish News.
