Playden

I suppose grey sky is quite a good background for the colours which are beginning to flame in the trees. Mostly it is golden, but the sumach is flaming nicely to crimson.

We were sorry to learn that our vicar is unwell at present, and send her our very best wishes for a speedy recovery.

The clocks are changed this weekend. Put everything BACK one hour on Saturday evening. It is my opinion that this is a silly game and I cannot see any advantages.

Church services are on hold this week .

Hopefully there will be an 11 am service for 22nd Sunday after Trinity.
