Eastbourne extends deadline for presentations for Local Plan
Eastbourne Borough Council announced it will extend the deadline for people to submit presentations before the Local Plan is sent to government.
A council spokesperson: “The deadline for submitting representations has been extended to 5pm on Tuesday 1 December 2026.
“Known as Regulation 19, this is the final stage of public engagement before the Local Plan is submitted to the Secretary of State for independent examination by a planning inspector. At this stage, the focus is on whether the plan is legally compliant and meets the tests of soundness set out in national planning policy.
