Public forum on Littlehampton Post Office

The event will begin with information about the plans and will follow with a question-and-answer session.

The Post Office is proposing to close its Crown branch in the The Arcade and move to 66 High Street in the shop currently occupied by Stead & Simpson.

Under the plans, the branch would be run by Yogi Eyecare Ltd alongside an opticians and would have its counters reduced from six to three.

The Post Office said the new branch would have its opening hours extended and would include all of the same services.

The public session takes place on Monday, November 25, at The Manor House in Church Street.

The drop-in session is from 4.30pm to 6.30pm, with a presentation with questions and answers taking place from 7pm.

The Post Office is also inviting people to give their comments on the move during its public consultation.
