The Bridge scored in the 1st minute with a goal from Chris Phillips but despite loads of pressure the second goal did not arrive until two minutes from the break when Guy Ballard struck. The second period started as the first when Toby Blackman finished a good move on 47 minutes however the Rocks had their chances but when their keeper was sent off 10 minutes before the end they lost momentum and it was man of the match Phil Green who completed the scoring a minute from time. The 2nd team started well in Division 6 at Battle Baptists III and should have scored in the opening 10 minutes but a mistake in midfield led the Baptists opening the scoring and from then on the Bridge fell away and were lucky to be only losing 3-0 at the break. In the second period we hit the bar and post before another mistake cost us on 67 minutes and just three minutes later the Baptists scored for a 5-0 victory.
