Stabbed by dad - tragic death of Littlehampton schoolboy

A POLICEMAN stabbed his son through the heart with a kitchen knife just minutes after the boy held the same knife to his father's neck to re-enact a Roman execution technique, an inquest has heard.

Conor Johnson, 11, was staying with his father, PC Ian Johnson, in his flat in Norfolk Road, Littlehampton, when the accident happened in August.

At the inquest into Conor's death, held on Thursday, at Worthing Magistrates' Court, coroner Martin Milward recorded a verdict of accidental death after hearing more than two hours of evidence.
