Gatwick Airport: Flight cancellations seem to be no more

Holidaymakers attempting to jet off from Gatwick Airport have been hit by a swathe of last-minute flight cancellations but things seems to be back to normal now.

British Airways and easyJet flights in particular have been severely impacted by covid, which is surging across Europe.

The virus has caused both airlines to be understaffed due to an increase in staff sickness recently.

SussexWorld has been keeping readers updated on cancelled flights however yesterday (Friday, April 15) there were no cancelled flights and so far today everything is running as expected.
