Heavy traffic is expected westbound on the A27 approaching Crossbush Roundabout.

The AA said Sedgwick Lane near Horsham is closed from Sedgwick Park to Coltstaple Lane due to telecoms work.

Maudlin Lane in Steyning has also been closed from Clays Hill to Sopers Lane because of electricity work, according to the AA.

The AA said it has received reports of a crash on Poynings Road, Poynings, near Mill Lane.

An AA spokesperson said, “Traffic is coping well. A vehicle has reportedly driven into a bush.”

Hurstwood Road and Chillies Lane in High Hurstwood have been closed in both directions between Hurstwood Road and Burnt Oak because of construction work, according to the AA.

Emergency roadworks are being carried out in both directions on the A259 between the A269 Bexhill East and the A2036.

Motorists are expected to face disruptions between 9am-7pm from today until Monday, June 13.
