UPDATE: Woman charged with drink-driving after Storrington pub collision

A woman has been charged with drink-driving after a car crashed into a Storrington pub last night (October 31).

Police were called to the High Street to reports a car had collided with a The Anchor Inn.

The black Ford Fiesta had collided with the pub near to the junction with School Hill at 10.55pm on Thursday (October 31).

The vehicle was removed by West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service.

No-one was hurt in the collision.

A spokesperson for Sussex Police said: “Kim Gurney, 42, of Sullington Copse, Storrington, has been arrested on suspicion of drink-driving.

“She has been charged and will appear at Worthing Magistrates’ Court on November 26.”
