Music is at the very heart of Will Hall’s life – and it has taken him all over the world, often playing gigs to thousands of people.

Variety has been the key to Will, who lives in Arundel, forging a full-time career in the music industry, which can be a fickle scene for even the most talented musicians.

Will not only plays keyboard – piano and organ – but also guitar, bass guitar and harmonica, as well as singing and being a highly-regarded songwriter.

“Playing several instruments is a big help because there is more work available to you,” Will says.

“Some people only play the guitar – and there are thousands of good guitarists out there. If you can turn your hand to several instruments, there are far more opportunities for you.”

Will’s love of music dates from his childhood.

“At school I was always playing music and I sang in four different choirs, from full choirs to chapel, so I had a good grounding in singing and harmony. I had violin, oboe and piano lessons at school, but they tended to be classical-based. From the age of about eight, I got into Blues and jazz. We lived in London and by the time I was ten or 11, I was going to Camden to listen to music there.”
