VIDEO: Shoreham reporter cut from car

THE Herald's Sheena Campbell got first hand experience of how fire crews tackle road traffic accidents this week when she volunteered to be cut out of a car.

Every year 3,000 people are injured on the roads in West Sussex with 17 to 25-year-olds the most vulnerable group.

West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service is working with the Sussex Road Safety Partnership to reduce the number of deaths and serious injuries caused by accidents on the road this Christmas.

For the full report on Sheena's experience during the vehicle extrication see this week's Shoreham Herald (December 11).
