Premier League:Brighton and Hove Albion vs Brentford from the Amex Stadium - Sunday, 2 pm

Brighton boss Fabian Hurzeler makes five changes to the starting XI that enjoyed a 1-0 Conference League win in Getafe last Thursday.

The Seagulls return to the same starting XI that recorded a first ever Premier League victory at Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium.

Another three points at the Amex Stadium against six-placed Brentford could take Brighton second in the table.

Jaouen Hadjam, Michael Svoboda, Malick Yalcouye, Jack Hinshelwood and Georginio Rutter drop to the bench following their midweek exploits in Madrid.

Fit-again full back Ferdi Kadioglu also returns to the bench as he recovers from a hip injury sustained in the opening minutes at Liverpool.

Bart Verbruggen in form

Bart Verbruggen has been in fine form for Brighton of late and will hope to keep another clean sheet against a dangerous Brentford team. Brighton have conceded just seven goals in the Premier League this term with only Arsenal conceding fewer.

Portuguese right back Costinha makes his fourth consecutive start in all competitions with the impressive Luka Vuskovic partnering skipper Lewis Dunk at the heart of the defence.

Olivier Boscagli - who has started every match in every competition this season - will operate as left full back.

Pascal Gross has also been an ever present in the XI this term is back in his familiar midfield role alongside impressive young Spaniard Chema Andres.

Diego Gomez remains on the right flank despite the return to fitness of Gambian flyer Yankuba Minteh, who settle for a place on the bench.

Sweden international Yasin Ayari is expected to operate as the most advanced midfielder in the No 10 role with Maxim De Cuyper - who has four goals and four assists this term - on the left flank.

Greek teenager Charalampos Kostoulas will hope to continue his impressive form as he leads the line in the attack. The 19-year-old has five goals and four assists in all competitions.
