'Kadioglu, Chema, Struijk' - Brighton injury list in full and return dates for Manchester City clash

All the latest team and injury news for Brighton and Hove Albion and across the Premier League

Brighton have little time to ponder Wednesday's Carabao Cup penalty shootout loss to Manchester City.

The Seagulls will stay in Manchester as they swiftly return to the Etihad this Saturday to face Manchester City in the Premier League.

Fabian Hurzeler's men still have a number of injury concerns but were also on boosted on Wednesday by the return of Yankuba Minteh and Mats Wieffer following lengthy injuries.

Both will likely be in contention for a starting role this weekend. Hurzeler will likely make numerous changes to his XI but will also have to juggle the energy levels of his squad as they balance the demands of the Premier League and the Uefa Conference League.

Brighton injury list in full

Pascal Struijk: The £18m arrival from Leeds has a thigh injury and missed the win against Palace, the loss to Liverpool and the cup exit on Wednesday. He remains a doubt for City this Saturday with Hurzeler previously urging caution. “It’s an injury that could get worse.”

Chema Andres: The imopressive young Spaniard injured his hip early in the second half against Liverpool and missed the Carabao Cup defeat. Hurzeler hopes to have the midfielder available for this Saturday.

Ferdi Kadioglu: It was not a great day for hips at Liverpool as the Turkey international also suffered a hip injury at Anfield and missed the City cup loss. Like Chema, Ferdi could be an option for Saturday.

Charalampos Kostoulas: We await an updat as the greek striker was not in the matchday squad at City on Wednesday. He may have just been rested with this Saturday in mind.

Femi Azeez: Hurzeler said the deadline day arrival from Millwall is "getting closer" and could get his first minutes for the club "very soon". The winger is unlikely to be an option this weekend.

Zadok Yohanna: The Nigerian winger builds up his fitness following his summer arrival and the £22m man will likely be an option after the international break.

Evan Ferguson: The Ireland international striker continues his recovery from a long term ankle injury and remains some way off a return. Previously, Hurzeler was unable to provide an expected return date.

Stefanos Tzimas: The Greek striker suffered an ACL injury last season and remains sidelined. No set date for a return as yet but Hurzeler said he's in "good spirits."
