In what was their first match under new ownership, following the news that US cryptocurrency group WAGMI United had purchased Ziya Eren’s controlling shares of the club, the Reds earned a third successive home victory.

The new owners haven't yet arrived in West Sussex, though.

“They’ll be over towards the end of the month, so that will allow for more meetings with the relevant stakeholders, both internally and externally," said Crawley Town's general manager, Tom Allman. Click here to read more

(68) John Rooney, the younger brother of England and Manchester United legend Wayne Rooney, has just been booked for a heavy challenge on Will Ferry.

(62) A huge chance for Crawley to double their lead as Appiah breaks free. Barrow manage to stop the forward but the ball reaches James Tilley in acres of space.

He scuffs his shot and falls to the turf hurt.

Appiah makes no mistake this time as he places a delightful finish past Farman with the outside of his boot.

It came after great work from Will Ferry out on the left.

(55) The resulting corner is a great one but Appiah now has his head in his hands as he misses a great chance at the back post.

(54) Nichols wins a corner with a shot from distance but Appiah was in space and is unhappy that he wasn’t played in.

Jack Payne hits a powerful shot at goal which is blocked before Francomb drives it on target from a tight angle and Farman makes a great reaction save to keep it out.

There were shouts for a handball after Payne’s initial shot but nothing given.
